Breydel Ham Elite

The Breydel Ham Elite is made from the silver-side, the part of the ham with the fatty edge under it. In practical terms, only 3.5 kilos will remain from an original 10 kilo ham on the bone. The result is a small Breydel Ham that is subjected to all processes of the traditional preparations. The flavour is absorbed even better thanks to its small volume. This oven ham may be the most accessible oven ham for fine culinary preparations. The Breydel Ham Elite is therefore particularly appreciated as a culinary delicacy in the catering sector.

 

Finely sliced for cold buffets, in salads or as a carpaccio... In dishes such as cheese bakes and pasta dishes... But also as the main ingredient, thickly sliced and heated up, presented with vegetables and a sauce of your choice, as the day special. As a cold-cut, the full-flavoured Breydel Ham Elite has a strong presence. Its shape also provides an original variation to the regular ham range and allows for good rotation. The slices of this oven ham are perfect for sandwiching. Additionally, the finer butcher and deli shops can slice the Breydel Ham Elite thickly and present it with a sauce as a ready-to-go dish. You may choose any sauce, although most are inclined towards mustard.

 

Breydel Ham has been certified by VLAM (Flanders' Agricultural Marketing Board) as regional product since 2009.
